To upgrade Field Assistant

NOTE

Keep copies of the latest libraries in a safe place. In the event of a system restore, the updated .sal file

must be reapplied.

Field Assistant

1 Stop the

Field Assistant Server

2 Copy the updated SAL file(s) to your Field Assistant Tool Installation path (Default:

C:\Field Assistant Tool6.0

NOTE

Do not delete the older SAL file(s) to retain compatibility with older installations.

3 Start your system in Field Assistant.

Refer to Update your routers and controllers (page 10) to complete upgrading your system.
